If you have a resident beach sticker, you can park at the public beaches without paying the daily rate. Resident beach stickers allow parking in the lots at Good Harbor Beach, Wingaersheek Beach, and Stage Fort Park. They also allow Gloucester residents to use the composting facility and other city beaches where it is posted "Resident Sticker Parking".
If you have an existing Resident Parking Permit, and the vehicle is out of service, you may apply for a free Temporary Parking Permit. You must provide paperwork to show that the car is undergoing service or is otherwise unavailable to you for a short period of time. There is a 30-day maximum for these permits, though we will issue additional permits if you provide documentation to show that it is needed. These extensions are subject to supervisor approval.
Due to the limited number of spaces on campus, only vendors that cannot fit into the garages and lots or need to work out of their vehicles will be approved to park in the different locations around campus. This will be approved on a case by case basis. If validation tickets are needed for vendors, please click here (2 business day notice). Validation tickets now work at any on campus location.
The Sumner Tunnel, one of two tunnels from Logan to Boston, will be closed weekends from 11pm Fridays to 5am Mondays while MassDOT completes restoration work, excluding holidays.
